A Montgomery County street repair crew came this morning, August 14th, to start work on a short-term fix to the drainage problem under the walkway.

TOWN OF GARRETT PARK: Update on the repair of the Rokeby Path to Garrett Park Estates
The Town Engineering firm, Clark/Azar, is making an assessment of the entire drainage area which begins at the outfall approximately 200 feet south of the walkway to the CSX inlet approximately 400 feet north of the walkway.

The path at the northern end of Rokeby , AKA “Lower Rokeby," which connects Garrett Park and Garrett Park Estates has been undercut by heavy amounts of storm water which has damaged the pipe under the walkway.
