Town of Garrett Park issued the following announcement on July 25.
The path at the northern end of Rokeby , AKA “Lower Rokeby," which connects Garrett Park and Garrett Park Estates has been undercut by heavy amounts of storm water which has damaged the pipe under the walkway. The attached picture shows the current situation at the walkway and the Town’s request that the path not be used by pedestrians and bike riders.
The Town is working with our Town engineer to develop a solution to the erosion problem. However, that solution will take time to develop and construct. We ask for your patience as we work through the problem.
