Town of Garrett Park issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The notice you previously received may have connected you to the 65% design.
Below is the correct preliminary 100% sidewalk design, which is currently under technical review by the State Highway Administration. (There may be minor changes to the design between now and construction.)
The most recent SRTS cost estimates, as of August 13, 2018, show an approximate $10K increase since last month. Tinted concrete sidewalks have increased an additional $2.00 per square foot.
The FHWA Sec 106 review is still in process. Until this is finalized, the sidewalk design and bid package cannot be released to prospective bidders nor announced for invitation to bid.
