Village of North Chevy Chase issued the following announcement on July 27.
Due to the serious inclement weather of the past few days, the start of the sidewalk repair work on the East side of the 8900 block of Montgomery Avenue has been delayed until August 3, weather permitting.
Given that the weather forecast for much of next week is similar to the past week, it is possible that the project may be delayed further.
We will further advise once additional information re scheduling is known.
Again, while the actual repair work is taking place, there will be parking restrictions on the East side of the 8900 block of Montgomery Avenue, and access to some driveways on that side may be impaired.
