Town of Poolesville issued the following announcement on July 30.
As many of you know, the Poolesville High School has been pushed back on the replacement schedule for many years.
Now, its not even on the list. A committee of community leaders are revising the approach and creating an opportunity for the colocation of County services (Community Center, Health & Human Services, Police Sub-station) in conjunction with the construction of a new PHS.
This vision has begun to gain support from County and State leaders.
Community involvement and support is key to its success.
This 8-question survey is critical in showing community support for County services and a new PHS.
We will be reaching out again for support during Poolesville Day, when all the political candidates march in the parade and again after the election.
