CITY OF ROCKVILLE: This week, the City of Rockville is working on 58 identified bus stop improvement city wide
The scope of work includes the replacement of non-ADA-compliant passenger shelter benches, construction of ADA-required wheelchair landing pads, installation of amenities such as missing shelter benches, freestanding benches/leaning rails, installation of larger shelters at high-activity stops and relocation of litter receptacles and other equipment to remove sidewalk and shelter obstructions.

CITY OF ROCKVILLE: The city’s contractor, Ardent Company, will construct the Town Center Road Diets Project on East Middle Lane, between North Washington Street and MD 355, and on North Washington Street, between MD 355 and MD 28.
The work includes a sidewalk widening on the south side of East Middle Lane between North Washington Street and Maryland Avenue.

The Compliance Engine allows oversight by Rockville’s fire marshal and Inspection Services Division of fire alarm, sprinkler, smoke control and commercial cooking extinguisher systems installed within commercial and multifamily dwellings in the City of Rockville.
