In a post dated May 1, 2025, Raskin declared, "We have no kings in the United States of America." This statement suggests a reaffirmation of democratic principles in the nation amidst political concerns.

Later on the same day, Raskin commented on the state of the economy, criticizing the impact of trade policies implemented during the Trump administration. He stated, "The economy's shrinking, the stock market's sinking and prices are soaring, because of the Trump Tariff. Autocrat economics don't work in America." This tweet reflects Raskin's perspective on the economic repercussions of the policies.

In a subsequent tweet, Raskin highlighted concerns over recent changes to the Holocaust Museum Board. He referred to decisions made by former President Donald Trump, noting, "Trump—the president who dined with neo-Nazis, campaigned against 'globalists' Janet Yellen, George Soros and Lloyd Blankfein, and saw 'fine people' on both sides of the 'Unite the Right' antisemitic riot—just sacked the Biden appointees to the Holocaust Museum Board, because no." This comment underscores Raskin's apprehension about the political implications of such appointments and dismissals.
