Rep. Jamie Raskin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 8th District, has taken to social media to express his thoughts on several pertinent issues through a series of tweets. Known for his forthright communication style, Rep. Raskin addresses topics that range from the dedication of public servants to interactions with colleagues and criticisms of current administration practices.

On April 2, 2025, Rep. Raskin highlighted the commitment of his constituents to public service, noting their sacrifices in foregoing private sector opportunities. He emphasized, "Tens of thousands of my constituents devote their careers to public service. They go to work every day to help America, often passing up lucrative opportunities in the private sector. They are patriots and we should thank them, not vilify them and drive them from public service."

In a subsequent tweet dated April 3, 2025, Raskin addressed a communication issue with Mr. Grenell, having heard of his attempts to reach his office. He remarked, "Mr. Grenell: Heard you're trying to get in touch with my office. Cussing out a staffer and calling our letter 'fake news' is not a cogent response to our critical questions. Would it help to correspond a different way? Are you on Signal perhaps?"

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Raskin critiqued the actions of the Trump administration concerning presidential pardons, stating, "The gangster state breaks new ground. Trump’s not just pardoning corporate criminals. Now he’s pardoning criminal corporations."
