Rep. Jamie Raskin, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 8th district, shared a series of tweets on various topics. The tweets touch upon issues related to social security, equal pay, and the events surrounding January 6th.

On March 25, 2025, Raskin commented on former President Donald Trump's assurance that Elon Musk's redesign involving Dogecoin would not affect Social Security. He expressed skepticism by stating "Trump's promising that Elon Musk won't break Social Security with his DOGE redesign. But this wouldn't be the first time the billionaire broke something he promised was unbreakable."

Later that day, Raskin addressed Equal Pay Day by highlighting efforts towards wage equality for women. He voiced support for the Democratic Women's Caucus' initiatives by tweeting "On Equal Pay Day, I'm proud to uplift the @DemWomenCaucus' unflagging fight for fair wages for all women. Ending the gender pay gap means equal pay for equal work."

The following day, March 26, 2025, Raskin criticized Trump over proposed reparations related to January 6th events. He questioned whether Trump intended to establish a compensation fund for police officers injured during those events or if reparations were meant solely for individuals involved in criminal activities. Raskin tweeted "Trump, do you want to set up a compensation fund for the 140 sworn police officers wounded by your J6 'patriots' too? Or is it just the criminals you’re proposing to pay reparations? Why should the taxpayers pay for the upkeep of your mercenary gang?"
