Rep. Jamie Raskin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 8th district, has been active on social media addressing various issues impacting his constituents and broader national concerns. On February 1, 2025, Raskin posted about the effects of the president's actions on federal workers and other community groups. He also acknowledged Black History Month and discussed international trade policies.

On February 1, 2025, Rep. Raskin shared that he frequently hears from "federal workers, nonprofits, LGBTQIA+ Americans, immigrant families, and others in our community who have been targeted and harmed by the president’s actions." On February 2, 2025, Raskin criticized former President Trump's tariff policies via Twitter: "After talking tough in the campaign about Chinese autocrats," Trump implemented tariffs on "Canada, Mexico & Taiwan!"
