City Of Rockville issued the following announcement on Sep. 05.
Celebrations from Friday, Sept. 10 to Sunday, Sept. 12 will mark the opening of a new destination in the city — the Rock East District, which gathers Rockville’s artists, professionals, makers and tradespeople together into a defined geographic location.
The Rock East District Launch Festival, a weekend-long launch party, will include a pub run (https://www.facebook.com/RockEastDistrict/posts/132722782409371), a bike tour sponsored by the Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee (https://www.facebook.com/RockEastDistrict/posts/132399355775047) and the Rock East District Launch Maker's Market.
