Interior Spaces

Updated on 10/24/2018 3:21 PM

Arts on the Green presents an exhibit exploring artist interpretations of “Interior Spaces,” on display November 23, 2018, through February 3, 2019. The public is invited to meet the artists during a free Artists Reception on Saturday, December 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.

This exhibit asks “are interior spaces confined to buildings or are they a glimpse down an alley way, inside the mind’s eye, or down a rabbit hole?” One often thinks of home when thinking of the term “interior spaces,” and many of the pieces in this exhibit are images of just that. Others are of people and what is going on in their “interior spaces” as well as abstract paintings with themes of interior space.

This exhibit was curated from a call to artists and by invitation. Featured artists include Michael Adler, Laurie Basham, Michael Brown, Howard Clark, Jeanne L. Cummins, Sally Davies, Ieesha Gray, Andrea Kleinbussink, Michael Kuchinsky, Kate Miller, Linda Slattery-Sherman, Chaya Schapiro, Vickie Surles, Diana Suttenfield, Pritha Srinivasad, Richard Weiblinger, Harriet Wise, and Alexey Zoob. Works by glass artist Susan Delaney and sculptor Luc Fiedler are also on display.
