City of Gaithersburg issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works will conduct crosswalk maintenance on Kentlands Boulevard from Great Seneca Highway to Booth Street.
The work will consist of removal and replacement of deteriorated pavement and restriping of the crosswalks.
Construction is anticipated to begin during the week of August 20 to 24, weather permitting, and will continue for approximately two weeks.
Lane closures will be staged throughout construction to permit continuous traffic movement.
Work will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please check the City of Gaithersburg website for status updates.
