Chevy Chase Village issued the following announcement on July 20.
We are excited to announce that Brookville Road Park is now officially open!
The Park contains an open access area toward the front with circular benches under the shade of mature Willow Oak trees and new landscaping.
The center of park features the new Village Dog Exercise Area where dogs are permitted to play off-leash. The fence-enclosed Dog Exercise Area features a gated vestibule to ensure unleashed dogs remain within the fence enclosed area, a walking path along the perimeter, benches and a seating wall to provide ample places to sit, a center bluestone dog run area, and beautiful landscaping. Pet owners will find trash cans and pet waste bag dispensers at the entrance to the park as well as within the Dog Exercise Area.
Rules and Regulations for use of the Dog Exercise Area are prominently posted at the park and can be found by visiting the Brookville Road Park page.
