1. Call To Order

The Regular Session of the Educational Enrichment Committee was called to order at 5:30 pm with Chair Stacey Simon presiding.

2. Discussion Topics

A. FY19 School Grant Review Discussion

Committee discussed FY19 School Grant applications and proposed funding recommendations.

B. Legislative Advocacy Options

Committee discussed MCPS new school proposal and voted on development of comments to deliver to Mayor and City Council.

Motion was made to approve the comments to be delivered to the Mayor and City Council.

Result: Passed [6 To 0]

• Mayor and Council meeting to honor 2 area principals, Jr Mayor and Scholarship winners on May 21

• Annual principals appreciation event in October. Planning committee will be formed over the summer

There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 8:45 pm
