4. Discussion Topics
A. Discuss Ideas for DiverseCity Showcase
The committee determined that they would like to bring back the trivial wheel as it was a fun interactive, educational game for attendees.
Additional cultural exhibits would be a great way to enhance the event as well. A suggestion was made to ask the performance attendees to bring one or two cultural items from their country to talk about at the event prior to their performance as an educational component. Members would like more participation from the mall's food vendors. We will ask the mall management to reach out earlier to the food vendors to request their participation and the possibility of offering discounts to attendees.
B. Discuss Ideas for a Recipient for the Proclamation for African American History Museum Members suggested committee member Washington Nsangou as the recipient of the African American History Month Proclamation.
5. Adjournment
There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 8:59 PM
