On July 2, Raskin highlighted opposition efforts regarding a contentious tax bill. He invited followers to join him and fellow Congressman Rep. Jim McGovern in discussing the issue further: "MAGA can’t get this dangerous tax bill over the finish line. Join @RepMcGovern and me as we discuss what’s going on and how we’re fighting back."

Self—Thank you for recognizing the moral and fiscal bankruptcy embodied in this monstrous bill. Please declare your opposition to it so we can secure its defeat and start over again."
