The City Celebrates Sports at Annual Sportsfest

What: 

The City of Gaithersburg celebrates all things sports at its annual SportsFest on Saturday, July 15.

The event kicks off with a 3K Run that benefits City Youth and Teen Sports programs. All ages and abilities are invited to participate. Registration required for 3K Run.

Following the run, youth entering grades K through 8 will participate in SportsFest, a variety of activity challenges in soccer, football, baseball, track & field, basketball, volleyball, and golf. Activities are free.

“Coach G,” the official Gaithersburg Sports mascot will be in attendance. The

Gaithersburg Sports philosophy of participation over competition will be on display.

When: 

Saturday, July 15, 2023

3K Run: 8 a.m.

Sports Activities: 9 to 11 a.m.

Rain or Shine

Where: 

Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm, 506 S. Frederick Avenue.

Who: 

Gaithersburg Youth Sports
