Summer Outdoor Concert Series Returns to Olde Towne

GAITHERSBURG, Md. Gaithersburg’s popular Summer Outdoor Concert Series returns to the City Hall Concert Pavilion. Free, family-friendly concerts take place in June, July, and August. Bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.

Children’s Summer Concert Series 

Parents and children alike will enjoy a variety of children’s performers on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

  • June 14 The Grandsons, Jr. (Country Music Duo) 
  • June 21 Marsha and the Positrons (Kindie – kids and indie – Rock Band) 
  • June 28 Lilo Gonzalez (International Music) 
  • July 12 Munit and Z Lovebugs (Family Music) 
  • July 19 The Bubbas (Acoustic Music) 
  • July 26 Rocknoceros (Tot Rock Music) 
  • August 2 Wendy and The Lost Boys (Rock) 
Evenings in Olde Towne 

Wind down the workday with great music in a casual, outdoor setting on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. New this year, the City is partnering with Saints Row Brewing to include on-site beer sales and food trucks.

  • June 15 La Unica Irish Band (Latin America and Irish) 
  • June 22 Billy Coulter Band (Rock) 
  • June 29 Kiti Gartner and the Drifting Valentines (Country Western) 
  • July 13 Karousel (Pop and Originals) 
  • July 20 The Breakaways (Alternative Rock, Pop Covers, and Original Songs) ∙ 
  • July 27 Sol Roots (Blues and Soul)
  • August 3 Seth Kibel Quintet ft. Flo Anito (Jazz, Swing and Klezmer) 
  • August 10 Mama Moon and the Rump Shakers (Blues) 
Parking in Olde Towne is free. Limited spaces are available at City Hall, the upper parking lot by Wells/Robertson House and at the Community Museum across the train tracks. Limited free parking is also available in the Parking Garage located across Summit Avenue at 112 Olde Towne Avenue. A list of additional short-term parking locations in Olde Towne can be found here.
