Bethesda home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Bethesda fell by $40,000 while total sales increased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 93 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,045,000 - a 3.7% decrease over the $1,085,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Bethesda in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Bethesda for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $9,814, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
