City of Gaithersburg City Council recentlyt issued the following announcement.
The City is partnering with the King Arthur Flour Bake for Good Program to host a number of free community events where Gaithersburg residents can learn the basics of baking bread and other goods. Participants will receive enough ingredients to make two loaves of bread – one for themselves and one to donate to a friend, neighbor, or participating nonprofit organization. Join us for a 90-minute baking demonstration led by King Arthur Flour's world-class instructors. Explore the science and skills behind whole-wheat yeast bread and quick bread. Plus, take home recipes, ingredients, new baking knowledge—and maybe a door prize!
