The Regular Session of the Board of Appeals was called to order at 7:30 PM with Chair Carol Rieg presiding.

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Regular Session held September 12, 2018
Motion was made to approve the minutes of the September 12, 2018 session.

3. DISCUSSION TOPICS
A. Work Session
Assistant City Attorney and Staff Liaison Seiden conducted a Work Session with the Board covering topics including the role of the Board of Appeals, establishing a record, ex parte communications, the Rules of Procedure and open meetings.
4. FROM STAFF
Staff Liaison Seiden welcomed Emil Wang as the new alternate member of the Board of Appeals.
The next scheduled Board of Appeals meeting is Wednesday, January 10, 2018 but no new application had been received prior to the deadline.
5. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 8:38 AM
