City of Gaithersburg Multicultural Affairs Committee met Sept. 12.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Session of the Multicultural Affairs Committee was called to order at 7:40 PM with Chair Jose Contreras presiding.

Motion was made to approve the above minutes.

3. DISCUSSION TOPICS
A. Discuss Social Powwow
i. Indian Health Services Employee Association members will attend to review schedule and activities
Discussion was held on the set up and content of this years Indian Social Powwow.
B. Review Annual Report to Mayor and City Council
Members suggested we include the need to recruit additional members for the committee in the goals section of the report.
Members also made suggestions on how we can recruit new members using social media.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the session was adjourned at 8:59 PM
