Village of North Chevy Chase issued the following announcement on July 24.
Sidewalk replacement and other repair work on the east side of the 8900 block of Montgomery Avenue is scheduled to begin on July 26th, weather permitting.
Please park only on the west side of the street until the work is completed.
Please be aware that large trucks and other equipment will be present.
The street may not be passable at times while the work is in progress.
The work is expected to take several days.
