Town of Poolesville Town Commissioners met May 21.
Here is the minutes provided by the Commissioners:
Call To Order:
Commissioner Brown called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Commissioners Stump, Radigan and Klobukowski were in attendance as well as Town Attorney Jay Gullo, town Engineer John Strong and Town Manager Wade Yost.
Pledge Of Allegiance:
Commissioner Klobukowski lead the pledge.
Announcements:
Commissioner Klobukowski announced an upcoming meeting for the bridge renaming in honor of fallen Marine Corp Corporal Kirk Bosselman on Saturday, Memorial Day weekend.
Commissioner Brown remarked on the success of the Springfest event.

Old Business:
Ordinance No. 210 – FY19 Budget and Tax Rate
Manager Yost provided a re-cap of the budget process. Commissioner Stump motioned to approve the FY Budget and Tax Rate. Seconded by Commissioner Radigan. Motion carried 4-0.
Resolution 002-18 – Town of Poolesville Water Conservation Plan
The Commissioners and staff discussed the merits of the plan. Commissioner Klobukowski motioned to adopt the Resolution and plan. Seconded by Commissioner Stump. Motion carried 4 – 0.
Town Manager’s Report:
Manager Yost discussed a meeting with the Bates Trash service to address service problems, reported on WWTP Flows, Sewer relining bids and congratulated Commissioner Klobukowski for being the new president of the Montgomery County Chapter of MML.
Attorney Gullo reported on the cell tower legislation updates and the County Road take-over.
Committee Reports:
Planning Commission – Commissioner Stump reported on Dunkin Donuts, Budd Road site plan extension and streetscape.
Parks Board – No report
Events Committee – Commissioner Radigan discussed the Friday on the Commons.
School Liason – Commissioner Klobukowski discussed a meeting with HHS regarding a multi-use facility for PHS.
Adjournment:
A motion was made to adjourn by Commissioner Klobukowski, seconded by Commissioner Radigan. Motion passed 4-0.
