Town of Poolesville issued the following announcement on July 2.
Recycle and yard waste collection for July 4 will slide to Thursday July 5th. Holidays to be observed are New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
If the holiday falls on a regular collection day, the collection shall take place on the following weekday that is not a holiday.
On Monday July 9th, 7:30 PM @ Poolesville Town Hall, the Commissioners will be hearing public comments on the trash collection services.
Anyone wanting to discuss issues with the current provider are encouraged either to testify in person or send an email to townhall@poolesvillemd.gov.
