The Town’s Purple Line Mitigation Committee hosted a public forum on the Purple Line. Mayor Barney Rush and Purple Line Mitigation Committee members Rich Brancato, Jeff Marqusee, and Stuart Sessions presented a slideshow on issues related to the light rail project, including the elevation and appearance of the project, the appearance of the trains themselves, the construction schedule, noise, visual privacy, storm water management and access under or across the tracks. The presenters answered numerous questions from those in attendance, and Mayor Rush noted that the slideshow will be posted on the Town website. A public comment period followed the presentation. Mayor Rush asked for additional resident volunteers to serve on the Town’s Purple Line Mitigation Committee.
