The first half of 2021: Home prices in Chevy Chase (Montgomery County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Chevy Chase in Montgomery County rose by $212,500 while total sales increased by 33.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 135 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,390,000 - a 18% increase over the $1,177,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 101 homes sold in Chevy Chase in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Chevy Chase for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $11,363, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
