The first half of 2021: Derwood experienced a 5.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Derwood rose by $30,000 while total sales increased by 5.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 103 homes sold, with a median sale price of $545,000 - a 5.8% increase over the $515,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 98 homes sold in Derwood in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Derwood for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $5,150, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
