Potomac median home prices rose by 16.6% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Potomac rose by $146,000 while total sales increased by 44.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 209 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,025,000 - a 16.6% increase over the $879,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 145 homes sold in Potomac in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $9,107, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
