The second quarter of 2021: Rockville experienced a 9.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Rockville rose by $49,000 while total sales increased by 42.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 225 homes sold, with a median sale price of $565,000 - a 9.5% increase over the $516,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 158 homes sold in Rockville in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Rockville for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $6,455, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
