Arena Grossu believes that President Trump won the 2020 presidential election by a landslide even though media outlets named Democratic challenger Joe Biden president-elect and official counts have the former vice president leading Trump by 5.6 million in the popular vote.
“What's at stake in this election is our free republic because if we allow the corruption and fraud that has taken place in this election to stand, we are never going to have a free election ever again,” Grossu told Montgomery News.
Grossu, who lives in Montgomery, was among thousands of Trump supporters who marched from Freedom Plaza to the U.S. Supreme Court across from the capitol on Saturday, questioning Election Day results. Protestors flew and drove in from as far away as South Dakota, Texas, Oregon and California. At one point, President Trump drove through the crowd in a motorcade.
“It’s not just about President Trump winning,” Grossu said in an interview at the rally. “But about the freedom of America to be able to vote people in as they wish.”
No state has reported widespread voter fraud associated with the Election Day vote, according to the New York Times.
The Associated Press reported that Biden won Maryland with 65.3% of votes compared to 32.9% for Trump. Biden was named president-elect after he won 306 electoral votes compared to Trump’s 232.
“The American people have spoken,” Grossu said in an interview at the rally. “The American people want President Donald Trump to continue four more years.”
Grossu is an organizer of Maryland’s Jericho March, which has been gathering since Nov. 5 in front of every state Capitol in the U.S. daily at noon to support President Trump, election integrity and electoral reform
“There will be people protesting until Dec. 14, which is the deadline for the Electoral College votes,” she said.
On Dec.14, presidential electors from every state are expected to cast their votes. However, each state has its own timeline for certifying election results, according to media reports.
Jericho March has scheduled another national march in Washington, D.C. for Dec. 12. A flyer states:
“As the Israelites circled the walls of Jericho until the walls fell, so we use peaceful means of protest until truth, transparency, and justice prevail. We call upon government officials to cast light on voter fraud, corruption and suppression of the will of the American people in this election.”
