Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
Start the New Year on the right foot! And then the left! Join a Park Ranger along with members of the Magothy River Association on a leisurely-paced 2 mile hike through the Magothy Greenway Natural Area. Explore this important wetland tucked away in the heart of Pasadena and learn the important role that bogs play in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Water and Hot Chocolate will be provided. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the cold weather. Participants should meet in the Looper’s Field Parking Lot.
