City of Gaithersburg issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
The Mayor and City Council accommodate neighborhood-specific requests for information through Council in the Communities meetings. The meetings, generally held in schools or community clubhouses, feature elected officials and representatives of key City departments providing project updates and discussing the concerns unique to that neighborhood.
Staff from the City’s Neighborhood Services Division have divided the City into eight geographic areas. The intention is to have four meetings each calendar year, so each area will host a Council in the Communities meeting once every two years. Please click the map below to determine which geographic area encompasses your neighborhood.
No RSVPs are necessary. For more information on Council in the Communities meetings, please contact the Neighborhood Services Division.Original source can be found here.
