Former Damascus High School standout Katie Alexander played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Damascus High School standout Katie Alexander’s current collegiate team the Messiah Falcons won 4-12 against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the tournament.

The Messiah Falcons’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
