There were two gas stations in cities across Montgomery County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.69 per gallon in the week ending Apr. 6, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of regular gas in cities within Montgomery County was $3.76 per gallon.

Of the five gas stations in cities within Montgomery County, four offer regular gas.

The average price of regular gas in Maryland was $3.56, compared to $3.55 the week before.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year's end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
