May: Wheaton-Glenmont experienced a 6.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $30,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 53 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $480,000 - a 6.7 percent increase over the $450,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in May 2021, as well.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,141, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for May.
