American Society Of Health -System Pharmacists issued the following announcement on Jun. 14.
Tonight, Patti Kienle will receive the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award, the highest honor in health-system pharmacy, during an event at the ASHP Summer Meetings.
Kienle is a nationally recognized expert in medication safety, quality assurance in sterile product and hazardous drug preparation, and accreditation and regulatory compliance. Her lecture is titled, “Pharmacy: Charting the Next Frontier in Public Health.”
