Potomac median home prices fell by 0.7% in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Potomac fell by $6,500 while total sales decreased by 14.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 181 homes sold, with a median sale price of $951,000 - a 0.7% decrease over the $957,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 212 homes sold in Potomac in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $9,107, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
