The third quarter of 2021: Home prices in Wheaton-Glenmont increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $47,500 while total sales increased by 58.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 198 homes sold, with a median sale price of $462,500 - a 11.4% increase over the $415,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 125 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,141, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
