Silver Spring median home prices rose by 17.6% in September 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Silver Spring rose by $86,250 while total sales increased by 39.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $577,500 - a 17.6% increase over the $491,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Silver Spring in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Silver Spring for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $5,220, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
