August 2021: Home prices in Chevy Chase (Montgomery County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Chevy Chase in Montgomery County rose by $600,000 while total sales increased by 42.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,650,000 - a 57.1% increase over the $1,050,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Chevy Chase in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Chevy Chase for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $11,363, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
