Chevy Chase (Montgomery County) home prices rose in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Chevy Chase in Montgomery County rose by $36,250 while total sales decreased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,260,000 - a 3% increase over the $1,223,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 56 homes sold in Chevy Chase in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Chevy Chase for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $11,363, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
