How did home prices perform in Potomac during the first quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Potomac rose by $128,000 while total sales increased by 18.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 166 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,005,000 - a 14.6% increase over the $877,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 140 homes sold in Potomac in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $9,107, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
