What happened to the median home price in Silver Spring during the first quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Silver Spring rose by $71,000 while total sales decreased by 6.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 147 homes sold, with a median sale price of $520,000 - a 15.8% increase over the $449,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 157 homes sold in Silver Spring in the first quarter of 2020.
