The first quarter of 2021: Wheaton-Glenmont experienced a 10.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $41,000 while total sales decreased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 121 homes sold, with a median sale price of $425,000 - a 10.7% increase over the $384,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 132 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,141, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
