Derwood home prices rise in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Derwood rose by $85,500 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $565,500 - a 17.8% increase over the $480,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Derwood in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Derwood for 2020 was $5,150. In 2019, the median sales tax was $5,042. This marks an increase of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.9%.
