Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $15,750 while total sales decreased by 18.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $419,750 - a 3.9% increase over the $404,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for 2020 was $4,141. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,989. This marks an increase of 3.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
