Chevy Chase (Montgomery County) home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Chevy Chase in Montgomery County rose by $10,050 while total sales decreased by 1.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 214 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,162,500 - a 0.9% increase over the $1,152,450 median sale price for the previous year. There were 218 homes sold in Chevy Chase in 2017.

The median sales tax in Chevy Chase for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $11,021, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for 2018.
