North Potomac home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in North Potomac fell by $5,000 while total sales increased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 185 homes sold, with a median sale price of $685,000 - a 0.7% decrease over the $690,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 177 homes sold in North Potomac in 2017.

The median sales tax in North Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,380, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for 2018.
